β β Hey Reader, β It's been an ambitious month here at Efdot Studio. Between preparing to open our new exhibition room Dot+Grid Gallery, collaborating on new collections, my partner for her upcoming show ... I found myself needing to pause daily. Just to catch my breath. That pause turned into a breath work practice / routine. Later it turned into an artwork. Actually, two. And today Iβm getting them out into the world, in a special way... Tonight around ~ 7:30pm ET, bidding will end and the winner(s) will emerge. β Two new artworks, now live on Manifold. One physical. One digital. β

β β One lives digitally onchain. We are all interconnected through this universal energy of breath. While I've been practicing breath work for years, its taken me until now to capture it in my art. The pieces represent part of the same cycle β split, but connected. Painting and meditating is how I slow down, make sense of transitions, and move forward. This release is my way of marking this moment, and I'm excited to see who comes along. Thereβs also a twist: I usually have little to no control over what happens to my work after its soldβ¦ So it felt poetic to give a small incentive, for keeping the two pieces together. π If both pieces are collected by the same person, all bidders will receive a special digital edition β my way of saying thanks for being part of the moment. β β Check out the physical piece here, and the digital piece here. Reach out with any questions! I can help you set up a bidding wallet if needed. As always, thank you for being here. Cheers, β β β Jessie's immersive "A Woven Year" exhibition will be on display through the end of the month. Friends in NYC, you won't want to miss this! See you soon. β |

Hey Reader, Sharing a process breakdown today... This weekend is the closing days for the Cities at dot+grid gallery. Before the work comes down off the walls, I wanted to share how the collection came to be, and what it means to me. Before Cities was a collection or a gallery show, it was an idea in a mural ... just my hand and a paint marker. These pieces capture my journey of trying to break free and find my way through the grid as a neurodivergent / colorblind artist. Hand painted murals...
