Hey Reader,

It's your friendly neighborhood artist, Efdot. Currently writing to you from Colombia!

I have a very special limited screen print that is now available for pre-order, and I wanted to tell you about it ...

About the artwork:

A black & white world captured through introspective flows. Get lost in dot patterns, reflections and figurative abstraction. The physical work is an experience that I'm truly proud of!

Click on any of the images below to be taken to the shop.

About the process:

I got completely consumed while finishing this piece over the holidays, manually adding over 10000 dots to the composition. 🀯

Starting as a physical drawing, the piece kept growing and evolving until it became what you see below.

It was originally sent out as a digital art edition to some of my biggest collectors.

Why "Playground"?

I like to view reality through through the same lens we view art. Occasionally letting the inner child take over, we see our surroundings as a world to explore, experiment with and enjoy.

Why screen printing?

After testing many different techniques, the medium that best compliments my work is flat color inks on hand-torn paper.

It's always been about quality over quantity for me, and this print is no different!

I am continuing to use my art as a way to also support local printmakers in NYC, and keep this craft alive.

Thank you for taking the time to check out my creations, it truly means the world!

Until next time...

Stay curious ✌️
